Normandy D-Day guides

The same long day from Paris in a minivan of no more than eight people. The route starts on Omaha Beach, adds the Overlord Museum and the German gun battery at Longues-sur-Mer, then Pointe du Hoc and the American Cemetery, and ends with an apple juice and cider tasting on a Normandy farm. More questions, less waiting; lunch is at your own expense.

If you can spend a night in Normandy, this is the better-paced version of the same day. A small group of up to eight leaves Bayeux at 8:30 AM and spends about an hour at each stop: Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, the American Cemetery, the Utah Beach Landing Museum and Sainte-Mère-Église, where the paratroopers landed. No motorway hours, so the day is spent at the sites.
